He is now driven only by revenge and the fleeble hope to find a cure for his disease. ![]() ![]() In a last struggle, Sabrewulf finally breaks free and returns to the world, now transported 2000 years in the past due to the time shift that followed Eyedol's death. Their "repairs" resulted in Sabrewulf having artificial, metal arms and claws in substitution of his biological ones, alongside a huge stockpile of pain and humiliation for everything that had happened him. As if it wasn't enough, an injured Sabrewulf gets caught on his way home by a country lynch mob, which left him barely alive and allowed Ultratech to kidnap use him as a specimen. His unwillingness to let his monstrous side prevail led to him losing and being brutally beaten in the early phases of the tournament. Not without suspects, Sabrewulf still couldn't let go a possible way to finally get rid of his curse and entered the competition. At some point he has been contacted by the multinational Ultratech, which offered him cure in exchange of his participation in the Killer Instinct tournament. Many years ago a wolfbite left afflicted with a virulent strain of lycanthropy, and since then he lived in his castle, exiled from society and struggling with insanity and a disease that steadily grew worse, until the day he became unable to revert to human form. Sabrewulf is a playable character in the Killer Instinct series.
